Preserving artist-built environments
Our latest case study highlights a new museum’s creative approach to exhibit design: each artist’s work is presented in a “tableau,” or a distinct, immersive setting that reflects the environment created by that artist.
Casual visitors can view a selection of the artists’ works in display cabinets created from Spacesaver’s high-bay shelving, while other works are in flat-file cabinets or trays on RaptorRAC™ shelving where they can be seen by appointment. Art racks form “walls” to create an immersive experience and allow staff to instantly change out works on exhibit.
