The need for ventilated and secure storage of sweat-soaked combat training gear prompted the NWTC Law Enforcement Academy to reach out to Tim Goodman of Storage Systems Midwest. Tim’s innovative, engineered-to-order (ETO) storage solution, 4-Post with Perforated Shelving, is the spotlight of the fifteenth edition of the Trailblazer.
This ETO solution transformed a public safety academy’s training equipment storage from numerous wooden tree stands to secure, ventilated, and organized 4-Post Shelving. For ventilation and proper gear drying, perforated end panels, slotted shelving, and horizontal wardrobe rods were added to a 4-Post Shelving System. Rollok Tambour Rolling Doors were used on this 4-Post Shelving System to prevent theft.
