Good afternoon,
At last year's Council Meeting and this year's Principal's Meeting we shared our corporate strategy and investment into New Product Innovation, Marketing and Speed to Sales. Speaking specifically for Marketing/Demand Generation, I believe we have failed to effectively communicate with you our progress throughout the course of the last few months.
Personally, I did not realize the amount of time and effort necessary to recruit and hire, build our team and change our culture, all while producing and creating results. We've had our head's down, working hard to devise strategies, implement plans, create results and learn, but that's not good enough. We need to be sharing these successes and failures so that together we can learn from each other.
With that being said I would like to introduce a couple of communication tactics that we are committed to moving forward.
- I will be setting up a bi-monthly meetings with key marketing resources across our Spacesaver Group. The purpose of these meetings is to share, collaborate and learn.
- Eric Schmidt and I are committed to sending weekly emails to share and provide you updates on our strategies, plans, timelines, success, failures, metrics, etc.
- We will also be creating a section on SpaceNET for posting marketing/DG related documents.
To make up for lost time, a forewarning, please expect an email from me almost every day for the next two weeks. We will be sharing what we believe to be pertinent information.
